World’s Fastest G-Class Unveiled: HOF Sir Class Honors Lewis Hamilton Ahead of Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Luxury car tailor HOF (formerly Hofele) has unveiled the world’s fastest G-Class SUV, the HOF Sir Class, on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, ahead of the Grand Prix. This supercharged SUV boasts an astounding 1,063 horsepower, breaking new ground as the first G-Class capable of exceeding 300kph, a speed comparable to a Mercedes-Benz Formula One car.

Built on the Mercedes-AMG G 63 platform, the HOF Sir Class generates an impressive 1,300Nm of torque, far surpassing the typical 300-600Nm range of standard SUVs. With production limited to just 11 units, each vehicle is priced at a base of €650,000 (approximately Dh2.5 million) and is available exclusively on order for UAE buyers.

“This was no simple task. Achieving 300kph+ required our engineers to consistently push boundaries,” said Ferdinand Peter, owner of HOF. The project, two years in the making, involved extensive upgrades to the car’s engine, suspension, and braking system.

The design of the Sir Class is a tribute to Lewis Hamilton’s legendary career with Mercedes, as the Formula One star prepares for his final race with the team this weekend. Hamilton, a seven-time world champion, secured six of his titles with Mercedes.

Etienne Salome, head of HOF’s design team, highlighted the F1-inspired elements of the Sir Class, including carbon-fibre components, ceramic-coated tailpipes, and a unique F1-style fade-effect paint finish featuring Tiffany green accents, a signature color of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team. Inside, the SUV showcases luxury with handcrafted nappa leather upholstery and meticulous attention to detail.

“This is more than just a car; it’s a collector’s item,” Peter added. “Even 20 years from now, its value will remain intact, making it both a tribute to motorsport history and an investment in the future.”

The Sir Class will be on display at the Yas Marina Circuit during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from Thursday to Sunday.
