During the four-day National Day weekend, four public beaches in Dubai will be reserved exclusively for families. From November 30 to December 3, the designated family-only beaches are Jumeirah Beach 2, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1, and Umm Suqeim 2.
Ibrahim Mohammad Juma, Director of the Public Beaches and Waterways Department at Dubai Municipality, explained that the decision to dedicate these beaches to families during the Eid Al Etihad festivities is aimed at managing the large crowds typically seen during public holidays and festivals. The initiative also provides families with a more relaxed environment to enjoy Dubai’s beaches.
To ensure safety and smooth operations, the Dubai Municipality has deployed an “integrated safety and rescue team” of 135 personnel, along with a 60-member supervisory team to oversee beach activities throughout the holiday period. The municipality will work closely with its partners to monitor all beach operations.
