Dubai Police and KHDA Sign MoU to Enhance School Education System and Promote Safe Learning Environments

Dubai: Dubai Police and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on improving the school education system and fostering a safe and sustainable learning environment.

The agreement aims to unify the efforts of both parties through targeted programs and action plans designed to address behavioral issues in schools and elevate the UAE’s global standing in both protection and education. This will be achieved through the launch of initiatives and training programs for educational and administrative staff, while promoting values such as loyalty, national identity, belonging, and community spirit.

As part of the agreement, the two entities will work together to generate suggestions and ideas that align with each other’s methodologies, organize events, activities, and competitions that encourage cooperation, and share data and statistics related to the development of these initiatives.

The initiative will be implemented through the Naseej initiative, which focuses on proactively addressing negative behaviors with an educational program combining military, sports, and awareness training. Additionally, the School Security initiative will work to establish a safe school environment by reviewing and improving safety and security protocols.

The MoU also includes programs from the Hemaya International Centre, which will engage students in various activities and courses aimed at reinforcing positive behaviors and community values.

The MoU was signed by Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, and Aisha Abdulla Miran, Director General of KHDA, at the Dubai Police Officers’ Club. Several officials from both sides were present at the signing ceremony.
