As many continue to do in this fluid sitution revolving around the L.A. wildfires, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences again has made some major changes.

The nominations now will be revealed at Thursday, January 23, at 5:30 a.m. PT. The Academy already had delayed the noms date once, moving it last week from Friday, January 17, to Sunday the 19th. The live announcement will be a virtual event without in-person media coverage.
