Light to moderate rain in Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, with a drop in temperature tomorrow.
The rain is pouring down in Sharjah this afternoon, turning the roads slippery, so take extra caution while driving.
According to the National Center of Meteorology, there was light to moderate rain over Al Rafea, Al Berair Kshisha, Al Sajaah, Al Hamriyah and Wasit in Sharjah in the afternoon. Moderate rain was also recorded over Shaheda Street in Ras Al Khaimah.
For tomorrow’s weather, we can expect the skies to alternate between partly cloudy and overcast, especially over the Northern, Eastern, and coastal regions, with showers making a surprise appearance.
A dramatic drop in temperature will keep you cozy indoors, but brace yourself for gusty winds from the North-West, fresh to moderate, and occasionally strong enough to stir up dust in the air. Winds will reach speeds of 15-30 km/hr, with gusts up to 50 km/hr.
For those near the water, the Arabian Gulf will be very rough, and the Oman Sea won’t be any gentler, turning rough to moderate. Be prepared for some adventure tomorrow, whether you’re driving or on the water!
