Emirates has announced the launch of a third daily non-stop flight between Dubai and Melbourne, Australia, offering passengers even more travel options in premium comfort. The new service will begin on Sunday, March 30, 2025, and will be operated using the airline’s newly retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
The updated Boeing 777-300ER features plush premium economy seating, the latest generation of business class seats, and enhanced passenger amenities. The aircraft is configured with eight First Class suites, 40 Business Class seats, 24 Premium Economy seats, and 256 Economy Class seats.
Currently, Emirates operates two daily flights between Dubai and Melbourne using its four-class Airbus A380s. The introduction of this third service will replace the existing route between Singapore and Melbourne, simplifying connections for passengers traveling from Dubai. Customers holding bookings on the Singapore-Melbourne route will be offered alternative travel arrangements or a full refund.
New Flight Schedule:
- The flight will depart Dubai at 9:15 PM, arriving in Melbourne at 5:40 PM (local time) the next day.
- The return flight will depart Melbourne at 11:55 PM, arriving in Dubai at 7:00 AM the following day.
The revamped Business Class on the Boeing 777 offers passengers aisle access, personal minibars, dining and working tables, multiple charging outlets, and 23-inch HD screens for entertainment.
In addition to Melbourne, Emirates recently reinstated its second daily service to Perth in December, bringing passenger capacity to pre-pandemic levels. The airline now operates 77 weekly flights to and from Australia, providing greater travel flexibility for passengers visiting the country or connecting through Dubai.
With this expanded service, Emirates continues to enhance its global network, ensuring a premium and seamless travel experience for its customers.
