The taxi fare in Ajman for October has been set at Dh1.75 per kilometer, according to the emirate’s transport authority on X. This marks a 5 fils decrease from September’s fare of Dh1.80 per kilometer.
This is the second consecutive month of reduced fares; September saw a drop of 3 fils from the August rate of Dh1.83 per kilometer.
The fare adjustment follows the announcement of new fuel prices, which will take effect on October 1. Compared to September, fuel prices have decreased by up to 24 fils per liter.
The updated fuel rates are as follows:
- Super 98 petrol: Dh2.66 per liter, down from Dh2.90 in September.
- Special 95 petrol: Dh2.54 per liter, down from Dh2.78.
- E-Plus 91 petrol: Dh2.47 per liter, down from Dh2.71.
- Diesel: Dh2.60 per liter, down from Dh2.78.
Depending on the vehicle type, filling up your tank in October will cost between Dh12.24 and Dh17.76 less than last month.
